Nativity Cathedral and Triumphal Arch
1 km
The Cathedral of Christ’s Nativity was built in neoclassical style between 1830-1836, featuring porticoes with Doric columns. Next to it, the Triumphal Arch (Arcul de Triumf) stands at the Great National Assembly Square, originally erected to commemorate a Russo-Turkish war victory. They both contribute to Chisinau’s historic and symbolic core. Address: Piața Marii Adunări Naționale (Great National Assembly Square), Chisinau.
